Dec 18th, 2013Being human I have all the longings, cravings, idiosyncrasies and of course emotions and insecurities that come with the label of our species.
This is what and whom I have chosen to be at this time. Deep down I somehow know that it need not be so difficult or complicated but I recognize that our personalities, our humanness gets in the way because our Ego constantly tries to remind us of who we are not.
At this time of my life as I put aside my domestication, I slowly awaken moment to moment to new awareness, to new consciousness that there may be more than what I have perceived in my limited three dimensional current life I find myself aware of. I am currently the sum of all the moments of my life.
Each time I surrender my preconceived beliefs and have an 'aha' moment, I am filled with grace. In the winter of my life I slowly embrace one of the Buddha's teachings 'No Avoidance, No Craving'; have the full experience, just don't set up your own expectations or you will always be disappointed.
At this time of my life I finally recognize that each and every day is a bonus, a gift. It is not in what I do in that day that really counts, it is in how I feel when I am doing it that changes everything.
