Dec 3rd, 2013By showing up— being here—right now on this planet, do I create a space for change? Does the state of our planet and where we are as a species reflect who I perceive myself to be at this time? As I begin to remember who I am, do I heal? And as I heal does my world and everyone around me heal?
I know that there are times I introduce conundrums, thoughts, brain teasers that are often prickly to the listener. Is it my Ego saying "look at what I know, look at how smart I am" or "listen to the words, the language I use, how wise I am , how spiritual I am" as I speak in the semantics of the New Age, New Thought, New Consciousness, Spirituality, etc. Do I truly 'know' and 'believe' what I am saying.
My real intent and purpose —which I try to convince myself of— is the hope that I will assist in opening a door, a glimmer of light, an awakening in another. Will this sliver of remembering stir others to their own knowingness, their own 'aha' moment or am I just entertaining myself?
Is it true that we only hear if there is a readiness? We only hear or recognize what we already know— knowingness that resides deep in our subconscious? We only hear or recognize what we are prepared to be responsible for at this time?
Do my words, thoughts, energy, assist in removing blinders, old patterns of avoidance based on past domestication?
Or is change happening mainly because we just showed up, being present with no agenda, no hidden intent, just sharing, wanting to love and be loved?
The miracle comes quietly into the mind that stops an instant and is still.
