Jan 15th, 2014A few choose - with love and joy - to pursue an examined life. I have found over the years that when you choose to do something or act in a certain fashion to be very clear and aware of your intent and purpose of why you have chosen this path or belief. If it fills you and gives you joy, go for it. ' ALL' are chosen, few remember.
Some of us pursue the quest/question(s) all our lives. Others are comfortable with just going with the flow. They accept the answers given by others or those in authority. They appear to be comfortable in believing that what they perceive around them is what is real and accept their lives as is. Sometimes I am envious of these people – perhaps they are the ones truly living their truth, whatever their truth is to them and it satisfies them. They don't have the angst involved with 'wanting to know', 'is there more?' 'who am I? etc.
Some are born just knowing and remembering and it generally flavors everything they do in their lives. Some may have an experience we have labeled as a 'near death experience' . Others may have an 'epiphany' when they least expect it and it fills them. The experience, the remembering never leaves.
Sometimes their perception of what they perceive of life changes for a while and then it is forgotten, again, as the daily business of work, family, mortgage, bills, all the minutia of life takes over. Just living life 101. They are comfortable with the 'status quo'. They may or may not awaken to what may be 'more' and they are really not that interested - and that is perfect for them at this time.
Every choice you make establishes your own identity as you will see it and believe it is. -
